Oh, how often I fret about things! Stress, worry, and anxiousness: these three things love to disturb my life, and I'm not the only one they affect. Men and women both, everywhere, have difficulties with the total surrender of their decisions, their future (questioning), and their present situations. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Hahaha
Instead of bowing to the lies of Satan and the worrisome characteristic that so often plagues our lives, we have the incredible gift of God's word to speak truth into our lives and bow down to the Savior who's, "Got the WHOLE world, in his hands."
I've compiled a listing of verses that address the topic of anxiety, so...read what God has to say:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all of thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING (got that!?), but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which trandscends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
But seek first his kingdom and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore DO NOT WORRY about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
And here is the verse that I named my blogger after:
BUT GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES AND GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS. Philippians 4:19
Lord, this is my prayer today:
Lord prepare me, to be a sanctuary; pure and holy, tried and true. With thanksgiving, I'll be a living, sanctuary for you.
Lord God, make me wise in your ways. Help me mature in you. Encourage me to lay my thoughts at your altar. Take the wonderings of my heart away, and fill me with your purpose. Make the light upon my path bright, give me strength to always do what's right. God, lead me and move me. Give me patience, understanding, and help me not to be anxious. Jesus, make me ready for all the things you will call me to. Give me discernment in every decision that I face. I pray all these things in your blessed Son's Holy name! Amen! :)
